2,775 domains added. 55 removed. AdGuard DNS Filter, Base Filter, and EasyList led the charge in new entries. Peter Lowe’s list had the highest removal count. Let’s dig in.

Overkick.com and Friends: Mass Removals from Peter Lowe’s List

Peter Lowe’s Ad and Tracking Server List dropped seven domains in one go, including overkick.com, remox.com, and starkscale.com. These are not your average malvertising churn—most have real company footprints. Overkick, for example, is tied to SaaS and API tooling.

For developers, this means fewer cases of legitimate services getting caught in the crossfire. If you saw unexplained breakage or missing analytics on July 4, check if your requests hit these domains. The quick add-and-remove cycle suggests an overzealous block followed by a correction.

AdGuard DNS Filter’s Fast Reversals

AdGuard DNS Filter removed cdn.vip-hd-movies.xyz, shopnoit.com, and four others—most added just days before. This is a pattern: rapid reversals after initial block. For MarTech, a domain getting unblocked within 48 hours means fewer false-positive support tickets. If you operate in the streaming or e-commerce space, check if your infrastructure domains were on the chopping block.

Consensus Blocks: High-Confidence Ad Domains

Eight new domains hit three or more major lists at once, like lkqivtsnfvriw.website and 31outsystems.net. These entries landed in AdGuard DNS, AdGuard Base, and EasyList—sometimes also in the Tracking Protection Filter. For tracking specialists, this is a sign: these domains are either very noisy or using mass-generated addresses. If your tools rely on these for attribution, expect coverage across most blocklists starting July.

Blocklist Volatility: Malicious URL Blocklist Purge

Online Malicious URL Blocklist removed 42 domains, the highest purge across all lists. Most were likely dead or reclassified as non-threats. For developers running threat feeds, this is a reminder that "malicious" is a moving target. Expect more churn and fewer legacy domains in blocklist datasets.
