Blocklist maintainers went wild this period. 3,034 new domains added, 9,084 removed. EasyList and AdGuard led the charge, both adding over 950 domains and removing more than 3,200 each. Most of the action: a cleanup of transient junk, but a few stories stand out.

Mass Removals: The 24-Hour Domains

Several domains, including 10k8ovyv.art, 12r8t4e28qwz8me12yb5q.rest, and 134qemjhxjinyco4l.rest, were added and removed from EasyList and AdGuard filters within the same period. That’s less time than a mayfly. For developers and MarTech teams: if your domain accidentally lands on a list, you might get lucky and see a fast correction. Still, don’t count on it. Some removals look like false positive cleanups, others could be blocklist maintainers scrubbing low-signal churn from fresh data feeds.

New Tracker Network? The .cfd and .rest Domains

A suspicious crop of domains with generated-looking names hit three major ad lists at once: 3r5xxmp421rnkqwhowj.cfd, 5uknklymnenl9o.rest, 5355b252cf.com, and others. All appeared in AdGuard Base, AdGuard DNS, and EasyList at the same time. If you’re tracking for abuse detection, add these to your “possible new tracker network” watchlist. The pattern: disposable domains, algorithmic names, rapid multi-list consensus. Don’t ignore these if you see them in logs.

Not Just Garbage: 121basic.com and 320style.com

Mixed in with the usual malvertising fodder, a few seemingly “real” domains showed up as new additions on EasyList: 121basic.com and 320style.com. These aren’t household names, but their inclusion means someone thinks they’re running ad or tracking code at scale. If you use these domains for legitimate business, your analytics or ads might go dark for a growing chunk of users.

EasyPrivacy: Still Quiet

Only four additions and 28 removals for EasyPrivacy. If you rely on this list for tracker detection, not much changed. But don’t get too comfortable. EasyList continues to broaden what it flags as ad infrastructure, so ad-blocking coverage now moves faster than privacy-only lists.
